*** Like any costume jewelry, these are not made for continued use, moisture from water, oils or perspiration's, and will fade, lose gloss, or chip if exposed to conditions reserved for "real" jewelry. These are for occasional wear. To extend the life, I highly recommend some type of coating like clear nailpolish or for a nicer and more professional finish I use Krylon triple thick crystal clear glaze. Used very lightly and according to manufacturer directions. I am not responsible for errors or any negative effects with any type of coating, those are just options for adding to the longevity of the product.
